Cockrell Hill Elementary always encourages parents to get involved with their child’s learning journey. Our campus prides itself on parent, family, and community engagement to amplify the learning experience for young scholars. Volunteers are very important at Cockrell Hill Elementary as they work with our staff for efficient:
- Morning drop off
- Lunch duty
- Recess duty
- Help in a classroom
- Campus events
- Field trips
We can always use the extra help to support educational programs and activities that encourage students. To get involved at Cockrell Hill Elementary, volunteers must complete an application process and receive background clearance through the Voly Volunteer System.

Cockrell Hill Elementary is home to a chapter of the All Pro Dads Club! All Pro Dads is a group of fathers, male role models, and male guardians who intend to inspire fathers to embrace who they are and give tenderness of heart, and boldness of character as a dad. You can join this group to get involved or take it a step further by leading the club. Leaders are responsible for providing guidance and practical tips on raising children in today’s world. All dads are invited to monthly meetings, giving father figures the opportunity to spend quality time with their children.
